Delirium pub closed for business

I'm not sure where to begin really.

Delirium was formed way back in the early days of TBC out of a desire to clear to games best content and have fun along the way. We become a guild that prided itself on being one of the most enjoyable places to be whilst still maintaining a position as one of the servers most recognised raiding guilds. We progressed from prince to magtheridon, from vashj to keal'thas, from achimonde to illidan and finally become one of few guilds that progressed to Kil'jeadon although never downed him. And we all had a great time

Sadly we weren't able to carry this progress through into WotLK. People got bored of the game and tensions began to rise which eventually lead to a lot of its key members either quiting the game or leaving the guild. We weren't able to recover from this. The simple fact is that the people that made this guild what it is are longer with us.

A lot of the members have already moved on to other guilds, mostly Slackers Inc or Leap of Faith. The few people that remain here are moving on to join with Addiction where we make a new future for ourselfs.

I'd like to thank everyone who's ever been a part of Delirium for making the ride as enjoyable and unpredictable as it has been. This is a guild i'm proud to say i was a part of and eventually lead during its closing hours. I wish you all the best of luck in life, i will miss you all.

Before I start the x'th going sober topic, I think this one is the best for me to say goodbye. Sorry for this incredibly cheesy post, but it's time to cut the pretentious bullox.

Without the forming of Delirium I'd have stopped playing WoW for quite a bit longer, so thanks for the ride. When Narmelor started to get less alien/tripplenipplish though, I started to lose motivation as well, not only because of his situation, but other reasons as well: getting reallife a bit closer to where it should be + aging of the game, it's simply time for something new (Battlefield Heroes is the new addiction, but games there take 2-6mins instead of 4 hours, big advantage ).

Now it's time for the next merge. I already stopped for 80%, but the merge is just the drop that overloaded the can, if you know what I mean. I just can't keep up 3/4 and I don't wanna play for 4 hours straight. It's no use, so I'm not gonna move with you. I hardly play anymore. Great work by Haggorth though, this is what the guild really needed. I wish you guys good luck in Addiction. I'm sure it'll work out very well.

Lagher for being the best drunken beerplummer in the world /hug
Narmelor and Hellish you guys are the best. Some of the few very special people in many aspects (intelligence, humour, class skills, manipulative/political skills, leadership with a clear vision, being able to always keep the bigger picture in mind). I've learned a lot from you guys, even some reallife lessons. I hope you get very far IRL, you deserve it. I will miss you guys A LOT, for real.

All that I've forgotten, thanks for the years of hardcore PVE, I will never forget the magic times I've had these four years.

It was one greet freakin trip, raiding, chilling, trying to find the answer 2 world peace, with different ppl all over europe. Too many 2 name in a list.

It's Time to sober up and land back on earth. Feeling iRrreeee atm being in RL again.

I still got some credit on my account so i might log in once in a while, but the simple fact called life is interfering disturbingly with my raid time >.<

playing a bit less then a year in deli i must say this was and will always be one the best experiences in gaming, never had more fun then in deli tbh

for myself ive moved on to another server were im in one of the world leading pve guilds but i still think deli was better ;)

This is my goodbye to delirium. (sorry if this sounds like a repeat of the first post :P)

I've been in this guild for about 2 years now. My first raid kill under delirium was against Shade of Aran back in kara, before guilds like Nihilum had even downed vashj; my last was against Hodir in 10 man. During my time in wow i have been in no other raiding guild, i've watched this guild grow and progress whilst going through the good and the bad times, but i never thought it could come to this.

Playing wow without being a member of delirium is something that's hard to imagine for me and get my head round. Delirium was home for me when it came to wow and the community we had here was unqiue and special. It gave me a lot of motivation to continue raiding when i wanted to give it all up, and ultimately i didn't want to let any of our members down. I don't know if i'll find this anywhere else.

I would make a list of names telling you all how special you are, but you guys already know who you are. If there's anyone that truely deserves a shout out it has to be our jewish GM, Narmelor.
